About The Andrew Weishar Foundation: The Andrew Weishar Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of providing financial relief to families with adolescents or young adults battling cancer. In October of 2012, the organization’s namesake, Andrew Weishar, passed away at the age of 21 after a very inspiring three-year battle with cancer. Words cannot properly describe the impact Andrew had on thousands of people, but his inspiration is what sparked the creation of an organization that has and will continue to make a difference in many people’s lives.

“During his fight, Andrew asked very little of us, however, before he passed, the one request Andrew had for my family and I was to “pay forward” the kindness and generosity that we received from so many during those three years. To honor his one and only wish, we created The Andrew Weishar Foundation with the mission of paying forward that kindness and generosity by providing immediate financial aid to families with adolescents or young adults battling cancer.” – Dan Weishar, Executive Director - The Andrew Weishar Foundation
